Watermarble
I tried water marbling again. It went a lot better than previous times, but I’m still not that content. I used 3 polishes from Models Own: Moody Grey, Purple Grey and Turkish Delight.
Here’s the result:

Comparison: Greens
I have a comparison for you today. After I got Run Forest Run! from Catrice, I was curieus to see how this one compares to Enchanted Forest from Orly and Going Incognito from Essie.

Dress Maker with flowers
Hi guys
My body/mind is so sick of summer, so I’ve been thinking about spring/summer a lot lately. My last manicure was also inspired by spring. I used Milani – Dress Maker as a base. I didn’t really like the application because I needed 3 coats for full coverage. I hate polishes that need 3 coats. Luckily the result was worth it. Gorgeous shimmer!
To add something extra, I decided to use water decals from Viva La Nails.
I really love this combination. I think I’ll do this more in spring, but instead of using Dress Maker, I’ll use Sold Out Forever from Catrice because it’s an exact dupe + 2 coats do the job!
Are you looking forward to spring/summer?

Holographic Patchwork
Hi guys
Like I mentioned before, I totally love patchwork mani’s. I wanted to do another one, so I grabbed my 3 holographic polishes from Color Club: Wild at Heart, Fashion Addict and Revvolution. This is the result:
The sun was shining, so I could take some pretty good pictures. I love the combination of the colors and the holographic effect. This takes me back to some great sunny summer days, hopefully winter won’t stay much longer!
I wish Color Club would make some more holographic polishes, they are absolutly my favorite! Wild at heart is my favorite. I think that Color Club would be able to make a pretty red holo… Lol, I think I should keep on dreaming.

Run Forest Run!
Hi guys!
Today I’m showing you the other new polish from Catrice I got. It’s called Run Forest Run! and it’s a gorgeous dark green. It’s not very unique, but an excellent low-budget alternative!
I’m curious how this compares to other greens like Going Incognito from Essie and Enchanted Forest from Orly, so I’ll probably do a comparison soon, stay tuned!

Blue floral manicure
Hi guys
Recently I decided to use my samples from Viva La Nails again! I wanted to use the beautiful blue floral water decals for such a long time, but I didn’t have any inspiration. Well, finally the day came that I had an idea about how to use them!
I used Models Own – Beth’s Blue as a base and created a gradient by sponging the lower half of my nails with Models Own – Betty Blue. After that I added some water decals from Viva La Nails (sheet: BLE244).
This is the result:
You can see that the swirlthingie (lol) on my ring finger isn’t complete, I think I messed it up by putting on top coat to soon.
I’m really happy with the result! I looove these water decals, they look very cute. They are also very easy to apply! I have them in a purple/red color so I’m definitely going to use them again! :)
What do you think?

Do you wear blue jeans?
Hi guys
As most of you probably know, Catrice has added 3 new nail polish colors to their core line: Hip Queens Wear Blue Jeans!, Run Forest Run! and Absolutely Chinchilly!. I got HQWBJ! and RFR!. I’m showing you Hip Queens Wear Blue Jeans! today. I had great expectations for this one, because it has a beautiful shimmer when you look at the bottle.
As you can see, it looks beautiful. I was hoping that It would look like this on the nails. Boy, I really was dissapointed. Take a look for yourself:
There’s almost no shimmer to see on the nails. When I move my nails in very good lighting, the shimmer seems to appear sometimes.
To get over my dissapointment, I added a coat of Pure Ice – Heatbreaker. Now this is how it should have looked like, lol.
Which version do you prefer?

Back in Business
Hi everyone!
My laptop is finally fixed, yay! Unfortunately my harddisc was replaced so I lost everything nailpolish related (spreadsheet, wishlist, swatches, blogpictures, …). Its too bad, but life goes on!
I already have a mani to show you guys! I created a line manicure with Catrice – Lucky in Lilac and Hi-tek from China Glaze. It took me quit some time to finish this manicure. I first put on two coats of Lucky In Lilac. After that, I used tape to create the lines. I cut little strips, placed them on my nail and applied a coat of Hi-tek.
This is how it looks like with a coat of Seche Vite!
I’m going to London in February and wondered if there are nail polish brands that I should keep my eye on. Do you have some suggestions?
Thanks for stopping by and until next time,

I haz a sad
I have some bad news.. My laptop doesn't work anymore at the moment, it has to be repaired. I don't know how long it will take. This also means that I don't have any access to my pictures/swatches anymore. So I'm sorry to say that there probably won't be posts for a while. I hope I'll be back soon!
Until next time,

Funky Red French
Today I’m showing you my latest funky french manicure! I just got Lubu Heels from China Glaze and wanted to try it out. It looked sooo pretty in the bottle. I was hoping on the same wow-effect like Emerald Sparkle from China Glaze. Well, that' turned out to be a big fail. I don’t know if I have a bad version of Hubu Heels or it’s because I had too high expectations. I just didn’t like it. It wasn’t as sparkly as I hoped and it was too much black for me.
I eventually got over it and decided to change the mani with a funky french in Lacquered Up from Essie.
It was a long time since I did a french so I was happy with the result. Do you like french manicures? Any favorite combinations?
Thanks for stopping by and until nex time,

Festive manicure
Hi guys
Before NYE I tried different manicures to wear that night. As you know my final NYE manicure was Ski Teal We Drop with Sparkle-icous. I also had an other alternative:
I used Sew Psyched from Essie as a base. Next, I created a triangle with tape and filled it using Black Creme from Wet n Wild. To add a festive touch, I added the silver lines and the silver dot with my Essence striper named “Silver Surfer”.
I liked this manicure a lot, but eventually got bored with it so I changed it a few hours later, lol.
Thank you for stopping by and have a nice day!

Two-thousand-eleven
Happy New Year Everyone!
I stumbled on a beautiful quote today and wanted to share it with you guys. I hope it inspires you to make 2011 the best year so far!
This is your life. Do what you love and do it often. If you don't like something, change it. If you don't have enough time, stop watching TV. Stop over analyzing, life is simple. Some opportunities only come once, seize them. Life is about the people you meet and the things you create with them. So go out and start creating.
My first mani of the year was my first polish from Zoya. I got this one in a swap and even though pink is not my favorite color, I liked this one very much!
Max is a beautiful hotpink. I was very impressed with the formula of Zoya. I hope all of their polishes are as good as this one! I’m definitely going to get some Zoya’s on Ebay since I can’t get them in stores.
Do you have any recommendations for me? What’s your favorite polish from Zoya?
